| Job Summary & Key Responsibilities | A part-time academic is required to teach English 1100.03 section 01, Writing for University, in the Fall term 2024 (Sept-Dec 2024). This section is scheduled for Fridays 12:35-14:25 with tutorials on Tuesday 16:35-17:25 or Friday 9:35-10:25. The part-time academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, leading one tutorial section, supervision of teaching assistants, test preparation and evaluation, and grading the final exam. The position reports to the Chair of the Department. |
| Qualifications/Requirements of Position | Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in English or be in the final stages of a Ph.D. program. Previous experience teaching writing and composition at the university level is required. |
