| Job Summary & Key Responsibilities | To teach English 1040.03 (01), Reading Popular Culture, in the Fall term, 2024 (Sept-Dec 2024). This course is scheduled for Tuesday evenings 17:30-19:30 with tutorials on Thursdays, 17:30-18:30. The part-time academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, supervision of teaching assistants, test preparation and evaluation, and grading the final exam. The position reports to the Chair of the Department. |
| Qualifications/Requirements of Position | Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in English or be in the final stages of a Ph.D. program. Previous experience teaching writing and composition at the university level is required. |
