Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

-experience and formal education (Diploma or MLIS) in providing library services.

-experience with Dewey Decimal cataloging.

-proficiency in MS-Office applications and Zoom, with the aptitude for learning new software systems.

-excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

-excellent time management and organizational skills, with an aptitude for detailed work.

-ability to work independently, along with a willingness to be part of a team and part of the MCS faith community.

-commitment to a local church and the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada’s statement of faith, while also supportive of the PAOC’s Statement of Essential Truths and Positions and Practices (articles 5-6 in the General Constitution and By-Laws, p. 4-8).

-familiarity with the library needs of a post-secondary educational institution.

-familiarity with theological libraries.
