Hiring Unit:
Department of Chemistry
Position Summary:

  • Set up the undergraduate Laboratories.
  • Set up glassware and apparatus.
  • Organize laboratory storage.
  • Prepare some basic chemicals.
  • Assist with Chemical waste management.
  • Glassware and apparatus cleaning.
  • Cleaning benches and working spaces


Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

  • Good communication skills.
  • Able to work in a team environment.

Experience and education:

  •  Graduate level background in Chemistry is required.

“Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level #3 (qualifier) on a scale of 0-4.”
