Hiring Unit:
Psychiatry
Position Summary:
The successful candidate will be supervised by Dr. Marie-Claude Geoffroy (McGill University and Douglas Research Center, Canada Research Chair).

  • The Lab Helper, in collaboration with Dr Geoffroy and her research coordinators, will be involved in assisting the team with various administrative and research related tasks.

  • Organizing and attending team meetings, preparing presentations, maintaining and updating CVs for various funding agency applications, ensuring compliance with open science framework in research practices, submitting and tracking expense reports, advance reports, and purchase orders.

  • Organizing, maintaining and managing permissions on SharePoint sites, participating in the preparation and revision of research reports, articles, literature reviews, and grant applications, as needed.

Education/Experience
Undergraduate student in psychology epidemiology, psychiatry (mental health-related field) 

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

Excellent writing and speaking skills in English and French

Knowledge of good research practices

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Strong organizational skills

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work autonomously.

Knowledge of reference management tools (i.e., Zotero, Endnote)


Minimum Education and Experience:


High School Diploma
