About the Position

This position will be located in the Department of Plant, Food, and Environmental Sciences of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dalhousie Agricultural Campus, Truro, Nova Scotia. The Department of Plant, Food, and Environmental Sciences offers a stimulating academic environment featuring a breadth of expertise, a strong applied research focus, and linkages across the university and beyond. The Department of Plant, Food, and Environmental Sciences in the Faculty of Agriculture invites applications from qualified candidates for a 12-month Limited Term Instructor Position (01 July 2024 – 30 June 2025) whose duties include online and in-person synchronous and asynchronous teaching (domestic and international – FAFU – articulated programs), academic program coordination, and service responsibilities with salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
The Successful Applicant

A master’s or doctoral degree in Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, Soil Science, or related field is required. Previous laboratory and lecture teaching experience will be considered an asset, as will experience with the Brightspace learning management system.
