ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF FINANCE
The Faculty of Business, University of New Brunswick Saint John invites applications for a nine month term position in finance at the rank of Assistant Professor, effective August 28, 2017. Candidates should preferably have a record of publications in high quality peer-reviewed journals and demonstrated evidence of effective teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Teaching assignments will be at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels. This position is subject to budgetary approval.
The minimum qualification for consideration is a PhD in finance. Candidates with a PhD nearing completion will be considered for appointment as Lecturer. The Faculty of Business has a reputation for cutting-edge innovation. It has almost 600 students in its undergraduate programs and 100 full- and part-time MBA students. The Faculty also enjoys unique relationships with the business and professional communities, which provide excellent opportunities for coop and internship experience, teaching enhancement, research collaboration and community involvement.
