Schedule Description
DUTIES
Working with the Exams Supervisor and Associate Director, Student Engagement and Experience, this position seeks to create a positive student experience related to final examinations, assessments, appeals and informal examination reviews. In doing this, the position is responsible for supporting the delivery of examinations in Open Learning via in-person and virtual options. The position works with various departments to support academic integrity concerns related to final examinations and assessments in Open Learning.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
- Grade 12 and the completion of a 2 year diploma in the area of Office Administration/Administration Management/Education or a related area
EXPERIENCE
- 2 years experience including:
- Supporting students at distance
- Scheduling systems, logistics and inventory management
- Using educational tools such as LMS and virtual proctoring systems
- Investigating concerns related to academic integrity
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE OR ABILITIES RELATED TO THE JOB
- Excellent communication, organizational skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to exercise independent judgment
- Research and negotiation skills
- Accurate keyboarding skills
- Attention to detail and ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
- Working knowledge of relational databases, Microsoft Office (primarily Excel and Word), Outlook or similar e-mail communication system
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Sitting at a desk and computer for long periods of time
- Contact with staff and customers
- General office conditions
- Ability to lift weights up to 10 kg
The salary for the above position is determined by the Collective Agreement with the Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local 4879, as it presently exists.
