Job Description

The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position summary
The incumbent assists senior researchers in the division. The specific duties will vary depending on the ongoing projects, but will involve a substantial degree of intellectual initiative.

General Duties
• Work with the principal investigators to design and conduct projects,
• Engage in administrative duties related to projects,
• Participer à des tâches cliniques et de recherche liées aux projets,
• Help with submission of protocols.

Education / Experience

Education: Bachelor's Degree
Field of Study: N/A
Other education considered an asset for this position: Master’s Degree

Work Experience: Previous research experience

Professional Membership: ☐ Yes ☒ No

Other Requirements:
• Excellent French (spoken) and English (spoken and written),
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
• Ability to work independently or with teams with minimal supervision.

Additional information

Status: Temporary Part-Time 14 hours per week to start
Pay Scale: $23.22 to $43.11 per hour, commensurate with education & work experience
Work Shift: 2 days per week
Work Site: Glen, hybrid virtual/in-person
