Position Details | Career Bridge: Centre for Work-integrated Learning and Career Development, is currently seeking a full-time (continuing) Administrative Assistant II. Combining academic programs, career services, and a My Experience Transcript Advisor, Career Bridge is a multifaceted team of experts and service providers working together to support WIL, EL and Career Development across campus. Reporting to the Academic Director, Career Bridge: Centre for Work-Integrated Learning and Career Development, the successful candidate will provide a variety of services including:

Position Qualifications | The successful candidate will possess excellent professional communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work creatively and collaboratively as part of a team. Ability to manage multiple priorities is considered an asset. Critical qualities for this position include a positive attitude, the ability to take initiative to support departmental outcomes, and the ability to inspire confidence and enthusiasm in our stakeholder partners. The successful candidate will also have demonstrated skills in organization, leadership, planning, and attention to detail. Multi-tasking and using discretion, time management, and prioritizing are crucial as multiple demands are simultaneously being made by multiple stakeholders during busy times. The complex nature of managing and keeping track of multiple important stakeholder demands, including ranking and satisfying requests, requires constant conscientious effort. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to services for students and the ability to maintain confidentiality in a complex environment. We are looking for someone with an Office Administration Diploma, or equivalent, with a minimum of 1 year of experience working in an administrative position preferably. A university degree is preferred, but not required. Preference given to candidates with a background in human resources, career development, and/or career/employment support services. Post-secondary experience will be considered an asset. An equivalent combination of education and experience would be considered. |
Starting Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE) | $4,576.00 - $5,114.00 monthly |
Full Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE) | $4,576.00 - $5,652.00 monthly (AUPE - Grade 9) |
