Offer Description

The postdoctoral researcher will develop a research project as part of a R&D project funded by Equinor and Fapesp through the Energy Production Innovation Center (EPIC).

Potential candidates will be invited for an interview. The selected candidate will receive a monthly scholarship from Fapesp and will have access to a technical reserve for project development..

Required qualifications:
Ph.D. in Geophysics or related field;
Experience in research and data analysis of reflection seismic and well log data for oil and gas reservoir studies;
Experience in programming and use of commercial software for seismic inversion and interpretation;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
