YOUR TASKS

The Department of Biomolecular Medicine at Ghent University is recruiting 1 postdoctoral researcher to work on the application of AI models on LC-IM-MS data, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Lennart Martens. The project will focus on the applying cutting-edge Deep Learning techniques, such as Graph Convolutional Neural Networks to complex data acquired with liquid chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry. The objective is to accurately predict the behavior of peptides in, for example, a chromatographic column. Furthermore, this model should generalize this task to a high degree to ensure wide applicability on different post-translational modifications and experimental setups. Finally, the models could be used in a generative manner to suggest experimental designs and parameters.
