YOUR TASKS

 

  • At least 70% of your assignment will be spent on academic research in the field of Business Informatics.
  • You support the preparation of research proposals and the initiation of research projects.
  • You provide support to educational activities at the bachelor's and master's levels.
  • You supervise students at the master's level as part of their master's thesis.
  • You support the guidance of doctoral students under the supervision of the promoter(s).

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

 

  • You hold a doctoral degree in Business Economics (with a major in Business Informatics or Management Information Systems), Business Engineering (with a major in Business Informatics or Management Information Systems), Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering, Business Information Systems, or an equivalent qualification.
  • The diploma requirement must be fulfilled at the time of appointment. For degrees obtained outside the European Union, an equivalence certificate from NARIC must be provided.
  • You have conducted research in Business Informatics, preferably in areas such as Business Modeling, Enterprise Modeling, Enterprise Architecture, or related domains.
  • You have an interest in researching and applying digital technologies to create or enhance sustainability in production and services.
  • You have an interest in the business aspects of applying digital technologies.
  • You have distinguished yourself as a promising researcher during your doctoral studies.
  • You have relevant scientific publications in international journals or proceedings of international scientific conferences with broad dissemination and reliance on experts for manuscript evaluation.
  • You have a pronounced interest in guiding students in academic and/or advanced academic education.

 

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU

  • We offer you a temporary appointment of 1 year. A second appointment of up to 3 years can follow, subject to a favourable evaluation of the first term.
  • Even if you have already been appointed earlier (whether or not at another university and whether or not in the same field of discipline) in a first term of up to three years, you can apply.
  • The second appointment does nog have to be immediately connected to a first term.
  • Your appointment will start on 1 February 2024 at the earliest.
  • Your remuneration will be determined according to the salary scale AAP5. More information about our salary scales
