Offer Description

In this project, we will measure the brain using EEG while a person is listening to sounds through a cochlear implant. The goal is to measure how well the person can hear in a fine-grained way and eventually use this to improve the signal processing of the cochlear implant. The work will involve signal processing of EEG signals and working with cochlear implant technology to present stimuli. Besides the pure engineering work, there is a strong practical component in setting up experiments, interpreting experimental results, etc.
