Offer Description
The Department of Soil&Water Management is seeking a doctoral assistant in the field of soil chemistry. The candidate will be engaged to conduct applied soil chemistry research and assist doctoral students. Knowledge of current soil chemical analysis techniques is a requirement, specifically the techniques needed for element analysis via ICP-MS and ICP-OES. The candidate will also be engaged in didactic assignments in the subjects of applied soil and water chemistry and environmental toxicology. Knowledge of the latter is a plus.

Benefits
We offer a full-time contract for 21 months in scale 44.The salary is competitive and the anticipated start date is June 2024.
Eligibility criteria
The candidate is proficient in English, has a PhD degree (preferable obtained within the last two years), and has demonstrable experience with current soil chemical analysis techniques is a requirement, specifically the techniques needed for element analysis via ICP-MS and ICP-OES.If the candidate published first-author publications on any of these topics, this is considered advantageousness.
