Offer Description

We are inviting applications for a predoc position in veterinary physiology & pathophysiology. The successful candidate will work on a lab/ cell culture-based project in the field of veterinary regenerative medicine, which will include to analyze data and write publications, with the opportunity to prepare a PhD or Dr. med. vet. thesis. The topic of the project can still be specified together with the supervisors, but should focus on the further development cell-based therapies for orthopedic conditions (tendon disease) and/ or the characterization and cultivation of mesenchymal stem cells from different species (human, equine, and other large animals). The candidate is also expected to participate in supervising students in the lab, as well as in teaching veterinary and biomedicine undergraduate classes. The starting date may be later if necessary.
