is leading in applied research on the development of data-based IT solutions for various application scenarios, including the design of new and innovative solutions supporting communities in increasing their resilience and achieving their sustainable development goals (SDG). As a reliable partner of industry and public authorities, we work on digital tools for a sustainable and resilient society based on current research results and in collaboration with end users and our customers. The focus of our applications is on climate change impact assessment and the protection of society during crises and disasters.

Specifically, our

team is developing efficient and scalable algorithms to provide emergency services with the necessary safety-relevant information and analysis results based on sensor and IoT systems on unmanned robots or aircraft (drones) in the event of the release of biological, chemical or radiological hazardous substances (CBRN), for example in the event of disasters.
