Organisational Unit

The University of Graz has founded the interdisciplinary research group "Smart Regulation of and by Low or No Code Development Platforms for AI in organizations" [Sm-AI-R] for the further development of the Smart Regulation profile area, for which early career researchers (praedoc) are being sought. Low or No Code Development Platforms reduce the requirements for the development of artificial intelligence systems in such a way that people without in-depth knowledge in this area have easier access to powerful machine learning algorithms and these systems are therefore accessible to a wider audience. The task of the post holder will be to research the challenges, opportunities, requirements and limitations of Low or No Code Development Platforms with other young researchers from the fields of philosophy, digital societies, psychology and business analytics/data science.

With more than 50 staff members, the Institute of Public Law and Political Science (IORP) is the largest department of the faculty. Our size reflects the diverse interests in teaching and research that are pursued by the department's members. While focusing on Austrian Constitutional Law and Administrative Law, we specifically include European Law and introduce a comparative perspective. We pay special attention to the nexus of law and related disciplines, such as Political Science and Administrative Studies. In all these areas the Institute contributes intensely to the university's special focus on South-East Europe.

About us

At the University of Graz, 4700 employees work together on future questions and solutions for the world of tomorrow. Our students and researchers face the great challenges of society and carry the knowledge out. We work for tomorrow. Become part of it!
