- Support work at the Institute and the Department: You will take part in collaborative and administrative tasks at the Institute and on the Department level, e.g., recruit bachelor theses, organise academic events, promote the Department’s new study branch “Economy, Environment, Politics” (WUPol).
What you have to offer

- Research outcome and publication record: Your capacity for research is documented in high-quality theses and, ideally, first publications in peer-reviewed outlets relevant to the subject area of this position (please include a writing sample / excerpt of no more than 8.000 words), as well as related academic activities.
- Teaching experience: You already have work experience in a university setting or similar academic context, including teaching, tutoring, and thesis supervision, or similar pedagogical experience, so that you can immediately take on related tasks.
- High proficiency in English: Given the international orientation of our work, we expect high proficiency in (written and spoken) academic English, in addition to advanced German-language skills, which are likewise required for teaching and supervision.
- Complete application: A complete and elaborate application includes documents, references and statements for all the above aspects. Please also include some notes on your motivation for taking on such an academic position in the cover letter.
