(HE05) $77,409 – $86,072 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

Continuing, part-time (0.6 FTE) position available.

Opportunity to join the collaborative Learning Enhancement and Innovation team (LEI) as a Video Production Technician on a part time basis.

The Learning Enhancement and Innovation (LEI) team facilitate, collaborate, design, and create engaging and flexible student-centric blended and online learning experiences. In partnership, LEI empower academics to teach and students to learn by providing expertise into design and development of innovative pedagogically driven practices and learning technologies.

The Video Production Technician undertakes and supports the recording, editing, and production of video content to support delivery of online and blended courses. This position provides training and support on relevant techniques in camera use, audio capture and video editing, and provides guidance to stakeholders on best practice recording practices and standards.

This role should appeal to video and media producers who want to apply their knowledge and skillset within the higher education sector and make their mark in an exciting and rewarding industry.

To be successful you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in supporting video production equipment.
  • Experience supporting video production in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience working in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to promote the organisational values of integrity, respect, collegiality, excellence and discovery, and a commitment to positively comply with the associated behaviour expectations.
