  • Commencement Salary: $76,304 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)


About the Role 

This position will contribute to STEM’s initiative in the development and uplift of digital learning content and technologies across STEM programs. The position will promote the knowledge and skills that underpin best practice in digital learning through the use of immersive and interactive digital platforms and will provide need-based support for the digital content migration needs of An De College.

Core Responsibilities 

  • Use immersive visualisation technologies to design, develop and deliver engaging digital content and experiential learning exercises for UniSA STEM teaching programs and courses. This includes, using flexible, immersive, interactive and online platforms sensitive to the needs of learners from a wide range of educational, social and cultural backgrounds
  • Support academic staff with public open days and outreach programs to showcase and promote the Project Live technology suite
  • Research and implement the most appropriate educational technologies compatible with offshore student cohorts to improve the quality of An De College course delivery,
  • Provide advice and support to academic staff developing digital content for An De College courses, and at-elbow technical assistance for troubleshooting during course delivery
  • Induct and demonstrate the safe use of identified plant and equipment, and establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Risk Assessments (RAs) for best practice

Essential Skills and Experience 
  • A tertiary qualification or equivalent professional/industry experience in digital media, design and/or content creation and demonstration including virtual and augmented reality
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of educational technologies and learning management systems in a blended environment (online and in person)
  • Demonstrated ability to independently or under minimal supervision use complex software tools to design, develop and publish digital content that engages diverse cohorts of learners within a higher education context
  • High-level problem-solving, administrative and organisational skills
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders that include staff, students and external parties with diverse backgrounds
