The School of Education is one of the largest providers of Initial Teacher Education in Australia, with over 5,000 students and 140 employees. The Role
The position operates in a changing environment and therefore requires agility to respond to such change. It requires specialised knowledge of administrative, governance, and management practices as they pertain to the School and School support staff, the diverse organisational environments in which the School functions, and an understanding of how the position interacts with other related areas and processes. The role also provides high-level support to the Operations Manager and Senior School Manager as required.  

Selection Criteria       

  • An undergraduate degree is essential whilst a post graduate degree is highly desirable. 
  • Demonstrated experience in managing staff across multiple areas of administrative support.
  • Demonstrated high level organisational customer service and time management skills with the ability to prioritise numerous competing tasks with minimal supervision to meet deadlines and ensure targeted quality outcomes.
  • Interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop good relationships and networks across the university.
  • The ability to organise and present information, views, and concepts in a concise and understandable format to a variety of audiences.
  • Experience in managing project-based work from start to finish.

Benefits & Remuneration
This ongoing position attracts a full-time remuneration of $100,512 to $112,622 pa (HEW 7) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
