  • Provide high-level support to the MACH Executive, offering authoritative advice, overseeing clinical trial activities, and contributing to key programs in alignment with the MACH strategy.
  • Take the lead in MACH clinical trials initiatives, providing strategic support, and actively contributing to the realization of MACH goals, playing a crucial role in advancing health research initiatives.

About the Role
The Senior Project Officer at the Melbourne Academic Centre for Health (MACH) will offer high-level support to the Executive, playing a key role in providing advice on various issues, strategies, and activities. With a focus on clinical trial activities, the officer will lead projects to harmonize governance, contribute to strategic initiatives, provide input into the Australian Clinical Trials Education Centre, and facilitate effective communication among committees and working groups.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead projects to harmonise clinical trial governance across MACH partners and liaise with other Victorian health services.
  • Assist the MACH partners with the development and implementation of new initiatives which are of relevance to the MACH members.
  • Provide strategic input into the Australian Clinical Trials Education Centre.
  • Provide advice, analysis, and recommendations to support the preparation of key strategy documents, effective and influential submissions, reports, and high impact presentations.

Who We Are Looking For
The successful candidate will combine a relevant tertiary degree with extensive experience in clinical trials, project management, and effective communication, demonstrating stakeholder engagement and flexibility. They should excel in managing confidential matters within a complex business environment.

You will also have:

  • A relevant tertiary degree with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and training.
  • Demonstrated project management experience and the ability to prioritise competing projects and demands.Highly developed communication skills with demonstrated expert writing skills and demonstrated experience in researching
  • A strong track record of being able to engage and influence at multiple levels of an organisational with a focus on delivery and stakeholder management.
