Overview
Digital and Campus Services provides a responsive, integrated and customer-orientated service that brings together the digital and physical environments for students and staff, supporting their teaching, learning, research and administrative needs. Our purpose is to provide fit-for-purpose and innovative planning and delivery services that contribute to the success of ECU as a vibrant and progressive University.
The Digital Programs and Projects team works in consultation with stakeholders to deliver digital programs and projects across the University. The team is responsible for whole project lifecycle including scoping, planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution and handover.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HRIS Project Manager to manage the migration and upgrade of ECU payroll system, from on premise to a vendor-managed hosting platform.

Key Criteria
The successful candidate will have the following experience:
- Extensive experience in successfully leading delivery of HRIS projects from inception to completion.
- Detailed knowledge of HRIS systems, including software platforms commonly used in HR (such as Ascender pay, SAP, Oracle HCM, etc.).
- At least 7 years of increasing responsibility in the information technology sector, including significant experience managing and leading a team;
- Demonstrated extensive experience managing large and complex HR projects, incorporating project and change management principles and integrating user and technical input and knowledge to achieve business outcomes.
- Understanding of Project Management methodologies including Prince2 and Agile methods
- Demonstrated extensive experience managing vendors, contractors, consultants and staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Understanding of Project Management methodologies including Prince2 and Agile methods
The successful applicant will be required to provide a national police clearance.
