(Level C) $135,388 to $155,696 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation.

Continuing, full-time opportunity available to commence in Semester 2, 2024.

We are looking for self-motivated individual who can demonstrate a willingness to work with colleagues on initiatives and contribute to the administration of the School, Faculty and University.

The School of Education invites applicants for a Lecturer opportunity. The position is open to candidates wishing to pursue a research and teaching role where there is an expectation the successful candidate can demonstrate an emerging research record with evidence of recent quality outputs, as well as teach into both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

To be successful you will need:

  • A PhD in Education in an area relevant to the School’s research strengths, particularly in Initial Teacher Education.
  • Demonstrate experience and or knowledge in Australian initial teacher education and policy and/or postgraduate education programs.
  • A strong, demonstrated commitment to excellence in undergraduate and/or postgraduate teaching.
  • An emerging research record with evidence of recent quality outputs.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to the development of scholarship, research and professional/administrative activities within the School including the ability to work effectively as a member of a team to provide outcomes for pre and in-service teachers.
  • This position requires a valid Working with Children Check.
