The Opportunity

Exciting Opportunity to make an impact on medical education as a Senior Lecturer, Clinical Dean at Dandenong Hospital.

Your role as Clinical Dean encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, including overseeing local teaching activities, providing pastoral care to students, and ensuring the recruitment and motivation of top-notch educators. You'll play a vital role in the assessment process, coordinate orientation activities, and contribute to faculty committees, fostering collaboration and excellence at every turn.

Reporting directly to the Director of Undergraduate Medical Education (DUME), School of Clinical Sciences, this role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the next generation of medical professionals. While providing indirect supervision and support to our dedicated teaching and professional staff, you'll also have the chance to engage in broader academic and research endeavours.

To excel in this role, you'll need a doctoral or master's qualification in the relevant discipline area, alongside a proven track record of publication in esteemed journals and conferences. Your ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, coupled with your passion for education and research, will be instrumental in driving success.
