  • Commencement Salary: $76,304 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)


About You

You are a motivated senior administration officer with the ability to provide advice and solutions through logical, creative and innovating thinking. You have high-level project coordination and interpersonal skills with the ability to appropriately communicate and build relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

About the Role 

Reporting to the Team Leader: Academic Services, you will be responsible for providing leadership to the Academic Services Officers, coordinating key projects, liaising with key stakeholders to resolve issues, providing guidance and advice, and ensuring the consistent interpretation of policies and procedures. You will also undertake administrative activities associated with the delivery of the Academic Unit’s programs and its research and consultancy activities.

The UniSA Allied Health and Human Performance Academic Unit offers a wide range of degrees and conducts research in the fields of physiotherapy, occupational therapy, podiatry, medical radiation sciences, medical sonography, speech pathology, clinical exercise physiology, exercise and nutrition, health sciences, public health, exercise and sport science, and human movement.

Essential Skills and Experience 

  • An undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline, or demonstrated equivalent skills, knowledge and experience
  • Demonstrated previous experience working in a senior administrative position in a complex organisation, involving the provision of advice and recommendations to senior staff
  • Highly developed research and analytical skills and experience in the interpretation and application of policies and procedures
  • Highly developed organisational skills to manage multiple priorities and projects within tight timelines
  • High level verbal and interpersonal skills including experience in liaising with people at all levels both internal and external to an organisation to deliver quality customer service
  • Demonstrated experience in writing briefings and/or reports for a wide range of audiences
