  • Commencement Salary: $70,476 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

About the Role 

You will be responsible for providing effective and efficient scholarship administration, and undertaking activities to support the University’s scholarships, prizes and awards processes. This includes providing clear communication and outstanding customer service for students, staff and external stakeholders including donors.

About Student and Academic Services (SAS)

The Student and Academic Services Unit (SAS) provides senior leadership in student and academic administration in a distributed service environment. It is responsible for the development and maintenance of policy, information systems and procedural frameworks.  The Unit coordinates and provides quality assurance for a number of University functions including student admissions, enrolments, examinations, graduations, student finance and scholarships.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience working in an administrative role including experience in supporting decision making panels or committees and events organisation
  • Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills, supported by well-developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to successfully communicate with a diverse range of people
  • Excellent organisational skills including experience in meeting deadlines, prioritising competing demands and an ability to use initiative and work both with minimal supervision and as a member of a team
  • High level of attention to detail as well as high level computing skills and knowledge including the use of spreadsheets, word processing, administrative information systems and electronic communication systems
