To be eligible for Saver Plus
You must have all of the following:
- A Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card AND an eligible Centrelink payment*
- Have a child in school (can be starting school next year) OR be studying yourself
- Have regular income from work (either yourself or your partner)*
- Be 18+ years old
* Many types of income and Centrelink payments are eligible, see the Saver Plus terms and conditions for more information.

Saver Plus helps Australians on a tight budget to build financial skills and develop life-long savings habits. The free 10-month program provides participants with a personalised savings plan to assist with their education costs and includes group financial literacy activities.

Saver Plus Stories
Cassie is a single mum of five from Tasmania who joined Saver Plus in 2019 because she wanted to save for her kids’ school costs.
Gishan studied Mechatronics Engineering at Monash University and decided to join Saver Plus after hearing about the program from friends.
Mimi from Hurstville first discovered the Saver Plus program 11 years ago when she was studying at TAFE NSW and wanted to save up for a laptop.

My Saver Plus Story
Saver Plus helps Australians on low-income build financial skills and develop life-long savings habits. The free 10-month program provides participants with a personalised savings plan to assist with their education costs and includes group financial literacy activities. Every dollar saved in the program is matched $1 for $1 (up to $500).

Established by The Brotherhood of St Laurence in partnership with ANZ in 2003, Saver Plus is Australia’s largest and longest-running financial education and matched savings program. ANZ has matched over $23M for education expenses.
Saver Plus is delivered across Australia by the following local organisations: The Smith Family, Brotherhood of St Laurence and Berry Street.
