Position overview
The role of the CECC College Research Office Team is to promote, support and foster better outcomes for our research community both within and outside the College.

The Research Services Officer is responsible for the provision of day-to-day research administration, post-award processes, data analysis and general advice on a wide range of matters related to research funding and grant applications, ensuring compliance with the University’s policies and procedures, adherence to deadlines, data accuracy, and timely escalation of more complex aspects to the relevant team members.

The successful applicant will have a strong customer service focus with the ability to problem solve and work cooperatively as a member of a team. The role is suited to a highly motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast pace, dynamic environment.

A competitive candidate will have strong communication skills, with the ability to write effectively and with accuracy, and the ability to consult and liaise with a wide range of stakeholders in a culturally diverse environment. They will also demonstrate the ability to edit, proofread, interpret and analyse complex written documents.

High level computer skills with experience using online information systems and the MS Office suite, in particular Excel, are vital for this role.
