The Opportunity
The Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is looking to recruit a Research Officer to join its research team, within the Neuromedicines Discovery Centre. As a Research Officer, you will support the operations of the Molecular and Translational Drug Discovery lab based at the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MIPS).
The Research Officer will undertake experiments including western blotting, qPCR and sample preparation for confocal microscopy. You will undertake data analysis, research administration, planning and scheduling. You will have a tertiary qualification in a relevant field. You will have a strong base in biochemistry and molecular and cellular biology. You will have western blotting and qPCR experience, along with sample preparation for microscopy.
This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
