About Us

The aim of the Monash-Epworth Rehabilitation Research Centre (MERRC) is to conduct ethical, innovative and internationally competitive research investigating outcomes and the effectiveness of intervention programs for individuals with brain injury or orthopaedic injury sustained as a result of trauma, with the ultimate aim of maximising their functional, psychological and social outcomes.

The Opportunity

Investigating outcomes and the effectiveness of intervention programs for those who have experienced brain injury or orthopedic trauma. Our ultimate goal? Maximizing their functional, psychological, and social outcomes.

As a Research Officer, you’ll be the heartbeat of our operations. 

Your role includes: 

  • Clinical interviews 
  • Cognitive assessments 
  • Patient follow-ups
  • Grant applications 
  • Conducting literature reviews, and 
  • Contributing to research administration

As the Research Officer you will operate with precision, judgment, and a commitment to excellence, providing timely advice and support to fellow MERRC members, participants, and stakeholders.
