They will employ and innovate in approaches developed in visual, design and futures anthropology, including literature based, ethnographic, video and photography-based, design futures, workshop and speculative methods. In addition to delivering top quality academic research and scholarship. They will be involved in making methods focused and ethnographic video shorts and documentaries either independently or as part of a team, and will lead, contribute to and participate in diverse modes of dissemination including industry- and government-accessible reports, video and photographic, public scholarship, and academic peer refereed publications.
The Research Fellows will be active participants in FUTURES Hub, a communication, meeting and dissemination point for Futures research and activity connected to Sarah Pink's ARC Laureate Fellowship, 'The Impact of Future Human Values and Practices on Australia's Digital and Net Zero Transitions'.
