The Opportunity

Are you passionate about advancing mental health research for women and children? We are seeking a dedicated Research Fellow to support our Centre for Women’s and Children’s Mental Health. Your work will focus on mental health across pregnancy, the postpartum period, and emerging disorders in young children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-quality research, including longitudinal studies and data analysis.
  • Produce conference and seminar papers, as well as research publications.
  • Contribute to research proposal submissions for external funding.
  • Engage in professional activities such as attending conferences.
  • Occasionally contribute to the teaching program related to your research field.
  • Attend relevant meetings and perform administrative functions connected to your research.

Requirements

  • Doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent research experience.
  • Proven skills in statistical analysis, manuscript preparation, and research proposal writing with a solid track record of refereed publications.
  • Experience in supervising and mentoring research staff and students.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • High level of organizational skills and goal achievement.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in managing large, longitudinal datasets.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and various statistical analytical software Experience in using REDCap would be helpful.
  • Experience in mental health research, especially related to perinatal and child mental health.
