  • Fantastic casual Research Assistant opportunity at the Discipline of Speech Pathology at the University of Sydney 

  • Part-time hours starting ASAP until December 2024 (approx. 20 hours per week)

  • HEO 5 Step 1 $59.21 per hour excluding Superannuation

About the opportunity 

The position is best suited for a practicing speech-language pathologist who is interested in language intervention with young children and cultural and linguistic diversity. It will be a great opportunity for someone who is considering registration in a higher research degree in the next 1-2 years.

Your key responsibilities will be

  • conduct semi-structured interviews with teachers and speech-language pathologists

  • transcribe the interviews

  • assist in a scoping review

You will have

  • prior experience as a speech-language pathologist

  • completed a research project as an Honours Student or for a higher research degree

  • must have a bachelor’s or masters degree in speech language pathology

Australian Temporary Residents currently employed at the University of Sydney may be considered for a fixed term contract for the length of their visa, depending on the requirements of the hiring area and the position.
