About the Opportunity

The Research Assistant works under the general direction of the Professor Healthy Ageing Support & Care and alongside associated team members, to provide a range of administrative activities to support the collection and management, basic analysis, manuscript preparation, and grant funded projects within the Healthy Ageing Support and Care group. 

This role calls for someone with proven ability to perform activities across the research pathway, experience with qualitative and/or quantitative data collection and analysis, which may include but not limited to literature review, ethics and governance applications, and data management and analysis.

About You 

To be successful, you will have completed a Bachelor’s degree in a health or related discipline, and/or have an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.

With your well-developed organisational skills and ability to independently prioritise tasks and work to deadlines, along with taking the initiative in problem solving, you will also demonstrate:

  • The ability to work independently and as part of diverse teams taking initiative and exercising sound judgement.

  • Well-developed computer literacy including demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with the ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and applications.

  • Exemplary problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative and prioritise workload during busy periods.
