About the Team
The Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor, International and Western Sydney International work closely with the Schools, Institutes, Western Sydney University entities, and other Western Sydney University units to build the ‘expanding global reach and reputation of Western Sydney University. Western Sydney International facilitates delivery of an integrated international strategy across Western Sydney University, creating an unrivalled experience for international students, forging international partnerships, increasing the number of inbound international students, and expanding outbound mobility experiences.

Western Sydney International is responsible for:

  • Increasing international student enrolments.
  • Managing visa risk and agent relationships.
  • Developing and managing international partnerships which facilitate international research partnerships, articulation, and outbound mobility.
  • Establishing offshore operations; and
  • Increasing outbound mobility.

About the Role
The Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor, International is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Compliance and Project Coordinator.

The Compliance and Project Coordinator is required to monitor all international compliance and regulatory matters for Western Sydney International and manage routine reporting as required. The position delivers management of effective and productive relationships with the Western Sydney International agent network, including market monitoring and assessing risk profiles.

The Compliance and Project Coordinator also manages varied projects as directed by the Manager International Quality, Compliance and Scholarships and Director that may involve the collection and analysis of data, summaries of complex reports, and writing of briefing papers. The Compliance and Project Officer acts as a secretariat to management and advisory committees of Western Sydney International, providing administration support.

This is a full-time, fixed-term positionfor 3 years. This position is based at Parramatta South Campusalthough travel to other campuses of the University may be required.

Remuneration Package:  HEW Level 7 $117,645 to $126,892 p.a. (comprising Salary of $99,411 to $107,225 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading).
