About the Team
The Student Wellbeing Services offer support to students at all Western Sydney University campuses. The Student Welfare Service provides a case management service for identified student groups; academic advocacy; educational programs; financial assistance; advice and support; assistance with accommodation and other welfare related issues.

The Office of People is seeking a Student Welfare Officer with extensive experience in the provision of wellbeing services. Your ability to deliver support in an ever-changing environment will be well regarded. Student Welfare Officers at Western Sydney University provide a range of services to students who need assistance with personal and academic related issues so that they are able to complete their studies. Student Welfare Officers provide specialist advice, advocacy, case management and referral services to students on a range of welfare related matters.

This is a ongoing, part-time (0.6FTE – 21 hours per week) based at the Parramatta City Campus.

It is a mandatory requirement for any incumbent of this position to have a current NSW Employee Working with Children Clearance in accordance with the NSW Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012.

Remuneration Package Pro-Rata: HEW Level 6 $62,327 to $66,805 p.a. (comprising Salary of $52,667 to $56,451 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
