School of Law Sessional Academic Staff Recruitment

The School of Law at Western Sydney University is looking for suitably qualified, experienced and committed individuals to join our Team as Sessional Law Academics.

Sessional Law Academics play a key role in the delivery of the teaching program. Sessional Law Academics work under the supervision of academic staff and, subject to qualifications and experience, may be involved in a number of associated activities in relation to the delivery of our units including classroom and online teaching, assessment preparation, marking, meeting with students and other academic activities. 

There are opportunities to teach across several of our campuses. Most opportunities will be available at our Parramatta CBD, Parramatta South and Campbelltown campuses and limited opportunities will be available at our Bankstown and Penrith campuses. Please indicate your Campus preference/s  and your availability in your application (daytime and evening classes are held from Monday to Sunday).

Academic Staff Enterprise Agreement  All casual sessional staff will be employed under the Academic Staff Enterprise Agreement 2017-2021 please click here . Information on the rates of pay are in the Enterprise Agreement and may be subject to qualifications held (please refer to page 87).
