About the Role
School of Social Sciences is seeking an experienced Arts Therapy Online Clinic Coordinator to join their team part-time for 14 hours per week.
The Art Therapy Online Clinic Coordinator is a critical position that provides exceptional administrative and operational support for the management of a Community-based online art therapy service providing student placement opportunities. The Coordinator reports to the School Manager and takes guidance from senior art therapy staff.

The Art Therapy Online Clinic Coordinator will support and enhance student training and client services provided at the Art Therapy Online Clinic. The Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining and progressing this Clinic according to the principles of partnership pedagogy. This will include collaboratively progressing policies, protocols and procedures for the online art therapy service, and maintaining a reciprocal relationship with the partner organisation whereby service users and trainees are beneficiaries. In addition the coordinator will investigate and embed the potential for research partnerships.  

This is a part-time, ongoing position based at Parramatta South Campus, although travel to other campuses of the University may be required.

About You
The successful candidate will have a Masters level or higher qualification in Art Therapy or recognised equivalent. Must be eligible to be an ANZACATA approved supervisor with a minimum of five years post qualification clinical art therapy experience including individual and group work. Applicants are expected to have experience delivering online art therapy. A Current Driver’s License, valid NSW Working with Children and Police checks are essential.

It is a mandatory requirement for any incumbent of this position to have a current NSW Employee Working with Children Clearance in accordance with the NSW Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012.

Remuneration Package:

HEW Level 8 $52,296 to $58,054 p.a. (comprising Salary of $44,191 to $49,056 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
