About theOffice of Student and University Planning
The Office of Student and University Planning will equip staff across the University with efficient and quality data processing, and robust data analytics that will inform, test and optimise experiences and performance. This capability will also enable the Division and broader University to deliver data-driven, evidence-based institutional strategic planning and reporting against those strategies.The Office includes two sections: Data Integrity, Quality and Operations (DIQO); and Competitive Intelligence and Analytics.  

Data Integrity, Quality and Operations (DIQO) are responsible for delivering academic and student administration services that enable the University to deliver a distinctly student-centred experience and discharge our legislative obligations, including the Higher Education Support Act (HESA) and the Higher Education Standards Framework (HESF). DIQO’s work is undertaken across ten functional streams that enable the University’s core business activities across curriculum management, student admission, enrolment, timetabling, student fees, examinations, student record management, and conferral.  

About the Role
The Office of Student and University Planning is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as a Course Data Management Assistant!

The Curriculum Operations Team within the Office of Student and University Planning is responsible for the management and maintenance of the University’s curriculum systems within the Student Management System and ancillary systems such as the Handbook. The team also provides curriculum advice to academic stakeholders such as the best way to apply curriculum rules for the benefit of student experience and understanding.

The role will also work alongside Curriculum Data Management Analysts and Curriculum Data and Systems Analysts as well as other key stakeholders to update information and documentation arising from curriculum design and how it is intended to be delivered in alignment with tertiary quality frameworks and internal policies.

This is a full-time, ongoing position based at Westerns Penrith (Kingswood) Campus, although travel to other campuses of the University may be required. Please review the position description for further information.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • A relevant qualification or equivalent professional training and experience in a complex environment, and;
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with others effectively, and;
  • Demonstrated effective organisational skills and time management skills including the ability to prioritise, monitor workflows and meet deadlines.

Remuneration Package:  HEW Level 5 $94,265 to $106,603 p.a. (comprising Salary of $79,655 to $90,081 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
