Promotions and Activations Assistant

Join our Stores team to assist in driving all Food and Beverage social media channels, working collaboratively with the Food and Beverage Team to promote U@MQ Food and Beverage Outlets.

THE ROLE

U@MQ at Macquarie University is looking for a friendly, outgoing, and energetic casual Promotions and Activations Assistant to support with the creation and maintenance of social media content, the delivery and management of promotional activities, the collection of relevant customer feedback and any other task in line with the promotion and communication of the U@MQ Food and Beverage Outlets events and promotional calendar.

About You

You will bring passion for marketing and promotional planning and delivery within the hospitality or entertainment industry. You have demonstrated knowledge of various social media platforms and relevant drivers that promote online engagement, including responding to queries via these platforms.

You will step in to support the team in delivering successful activations. You will have proven excellent communication skills and ability to interact with diverse audiences in a professional and engaging manner.

The Campus Services team operates multiple retail outlets providing products, services and events to students, staff, and community members on the University campus. Campus Services operates 7 days a week.
