Position overview

As part of the Australian Plant Phenomics Facility (APPF) team, the Project Officer will manage several infrastructure procurement projects for controlled environment and phenomics equipment. The Project Officer will work closely with the Manager and other staff in the APPF team and the Research School of Biology to implement this project on time and at the highest standards.

The Australian Plant Phenomics Facility (APPF) is a national research collaboration facility with nodes at ANU, CSIRO and The University of Adelaide. The APPF ANU Node is located within the Division of Plant Sciences in the Research School of Biology and provides research services to publicly and privately funded researchers located internally and externally to the University.

The person

We are looking for a Project Officer with qualifications in project management and ideally experience with the procurement of research infrastructure. We are looking for someone who likes challenging problems and encourages team members and colleagues to workshop effective solutions. Technical understanding of the procurement and installation of controlled environment and phenotyping equipment would be helpful.
