About the area

The Office of Education Innovation and Enterprise is responsible for the Strategic leadership and oversight of innovation in education with a particular focus on digital uplift across the full student lifecycle in both curricula and co-curricular areas, as well as consolidating the multiple initiatives with respect to work-integrated learning at curricula and co-curricular levels to develop an overall strategy for employability, and broader forms of experiential learning.

The Office of Education Innovation and Enterprise is leading the development of innovations in partnerships with third party organisations and industry, and advances UWA’s short course and micro-credentials within the UWA Plus framework.

About the opportunity

You will manage a project involving development and accreditation of a new course.  You will liaise closely with all key stakeholder areas including, but not limited to: The School of Allied Health, Academic Excellence, Student Life, Brand Marketing and Recruitment, the Digital Development and Enhancement team, IT and Load Planning Management. The key priority will be to plan, develop and implement key action items and initiatives. Consultation with internal and external stakeholders is a critical component of the role.

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent competency
  • Substantial and extensive relevant experience providing advice and managing high profile projects in large complex organisations
  • Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary management practice and procedures
  • Highly developed experience in finding options and solutions to complex people issues 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to compose and deliver reports and recommendations at a high level

 Note: Travel may be required for this position – likely to be regional, with a small potential for interstate travel.
