About the position

 

You will be responsible for stakeholder management, design, tendering, construction, commissioning and coordination and control of major projects including management of external consultants, principal contractors, and contractors, ensuring that safe operating procedures are a priority.

 

As a client-side project manager, you will be given the autonomy and independence to manage the full lifecycle of a diverse range of projects. You will also work in a team first culture that promotes high employee engagement, cooperation, and collaboration.


Essential position requirements

 

  • Proven experience in managing various infrastructure projects from inception to completion and work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to communicate and manage project expectations, milestones, and outcomes.
  • Demonstrated understanding of project management frameworks/systems, in addition to legislative requirements surrounding occupational health and safety, built assets and infrastructure.
  • Experience in site management, program and project scheduling, risk analysis, contract management, cost estimating and financial management, and project reporting.
  • Excellent negotiation, consultation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills including the ability to prepare tender recommendations, submissions, reports, and briefing papers.
