Project Delivery Manager 

 Campus Management - UWA

  • Manage the delivery of complex Growth Capital Works and be part of an exciting transformation in the University’s campus and property portfolio
  • Two positions available
  • Full-time appointment on a 3-year fixed term basis
  • Base salary range: Level 8, $106,775 – $116,709 p.a. plus 17% superannuation
  • Salary increases of 5% after 1 July 2024 as per the Enterprise Agreement
  • Option for salary supplement of up to 6% and reduce to minimum Superannuation contribution guarantee

About the team

Campus Management is responsible for planning, developing and managing the University’s campus and property portfolio to support teaching, research and campus life. Campus Management delivers a comprehensive range of University-wide services.

About the opportunity

As the appointee you will, under broad direction, provide for the effective delivery of (multiple) physical capital works projects/programs and ensure that the University’s requirements are provided for throughout feasibility, design, procurement, construction, and close-out of physical capital works projects/programs.

Lead the delivery of Growth Capital works Projects with new and refurbished facilities to increase business capacity

You will also provide continuous improvement input into the University's physical capital works project planning and delivery frameworks.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will demonstrate:

  • Relevant postgraduate tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency.
  • Substantial and extensive relevant experience at an appropriate level including demonstrated experience having led full lifecycle delivery of complex physical capital projects/programs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of relevant legislative and regulatory requirements in the areas of Australian Building Codes and Standards, Occupational Safety & Health, Equal Opportunity, and principles of universal access and how these impact on sustainability, service delivery, employment and people management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and influence clients, consultants and project teams in the delivery of complex physical capital projects and programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, review and evaluate the allocation of significant resources.
  • Demonstrated experience in consulting on priorities and providing operational advice to senior management.
