About the Role
This presents an excellent opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our team and contribute to multiple exciting projects within the Student Services Transformation Program. As the Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the delivery of these projects. This role will require you to possess expertise in the subject matter of the projects, assisting with project planning, developing project materials, and managing other project-related tasks as necessary.
Additionally, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the university, including senior leaders and staff from academic and professional portfolios. Establishing and nurturing strong relationships will be crucial for the successful execution of projects assigned by Project Managers and Initiative Leaders. This role offers exposure to various areas of the university and provides opportunities to engage in diverse projects. Your exceptional work will have a significant impact on the experiences of both staff and students.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Support the whole cycle of key projects and initiatives
- Prepare high quality project resources and artefacts and develop a deep understanding of projects and stakeholders
- Provide secretariat support to project working activities
- Engage with project stakeholders to ensure the successfully delivery of projects
Who we are looking for
We’re looking for people who thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
You should possess strong communication and organisational skills, along with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels is crucial for this role. You must also demonstrate the capacity to motivate, persuade, negotiate, and engage with key stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
You will also have:
- Extensive experience and specialist or broad knowledge in a relevant field; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of project management including the development and implementation of detailed project plans involving multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in a higher education setting would be an advantage but not essential.
- Good judgement, with an ability to anticipate project and stakeholder needs, and to identify dependencies across different pieces of work.
