About the Role 

Reporting to the General Manager: UniSA Education Futures, you will join the team which is responsible for the operational management of the program portfolio and associated activity providing strategic, commercial, budgetary, policy and governance and support. You will provide leadership management and mentoring to professional and academic staff, and will lead the resource planning, monitoring and review to ensure appropriate resources. You will establish effective business systems and processes, and provide leadership across compliance, accreditation, governance and risk management, and health and safety.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Solid record of managing teams and resources in a multi-disciplinary environment to deliver quality services and continuous improvement against strategic objectives 
  • Experience building high performing and resilient teams supported by constructive supervision and performance development
  • Successful achievement in leading, motivating and managing effective partnerships with diverse internal and external stakeholders
  • Commitment to, and successful experience of delivering, quality management systems and implementing continuous business improvement processes
  • Ability to analyse and navigate complex funding arrangements, demonstrate commercial and fiscal acumen, support business case development and monitor compliance
  • A sound understanding of research in a University or a similar (including research systems and strategic directions), and of compliance and accreditation requirements for initial teacher education programs, is desirable
