Looking for an exciting opportunity to support our researchers in partnership with communities and industry to enAble people to live happier and healthier lives? Look no further than the Program Coordinator position at the Curtin enAble Institute!

As Program Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Institute Director and Leadership team to successfully deliver the annual program of activities.
Key responsibilities will include the administration and coordination of day-to-day operations, managing grants and contracts, providing support and coordination for stakeholder engagement activities, providing support for Institute Committees and meetings, coordinating conferences, seminars and other public events, and supporting internal and external communications and reporting.
The ideal candidate should have a proven track record providing high level administrative support and program coordination.  You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.  You will also have exceptional organisation and time management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.  Project management skills would be an added advantage.
This role will be based at our Curtin Bentley Campus where you will have the opportunity to grow your network and skills, in an agile and fastmoving organisation.

Selection Criteria

  • Completion of a relevant degree with subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and/or education/training.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to coordinate and implement program activities.
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal and oral communication skills with the ability to consult and liaise effectively with a diverse range of people and with cross cultural sensitivity.
  • Demonstrated high level written communication skills with the ability to construct clear and concise reports and other relevant documentation.
  • Proven ability to work well in a team, including respecting difference, leading and supporting others, accepting direction, and working to group goals.
Area Specific Criteria
  • Sound research, conceptual and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, content management systems and social media platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Desirable
  • Experience working in a large tertiary education environment.
  • Project management experience
