Your role

The Hub Coordinator will be the first point of contact for all delivery of Cities Hub programs and experiences under supervision of the Cities Hub Coordination Group. The primary responsibilities of this position are to coordinate across all stakeholders involved, manage expectations, and ensure satisfaction to all parties involved. The Hub Coordinator will work closely with the Academic Lead Coordinator and the wider Advisory Group to deliver a successful and impactful experience through various offerings.

Key Accountabilities

  • Activities programs associated with the Cities Hub including research partnerships, stakeholder engagement activities

  • Coordinate the delivery of programs and experiences in line with the budget planned by the Hub's executive team. Work closely with executive members, including the team in Melbourne, to plan and support the delivery of activities such as searching partnership and stakeholder engagement, and contribute to the hub's operation with local knowledge.

  • Assist the Cities Hub Coordination Group in all events-related logistics such as recruitment and management of student volunteers, program certificates, pre and post event communications as required.

  • Assist the  Cities Hub Coordination Group with data collection and management, content recording and delivery for Cities Hub activities.

  • Contribute to providing an innovative, high performance, participant-centric culture that encourages innovation, continuous improvement and a focus on positive experiences for all participants.

  • Responsible for the creation of visual assets in line with the University’s brand guidelines for internal and promotional use.

  • Undertake any other duties as required by the Manager.

Key Selection Criteria

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline (Environment/Communications/Business/Education) or equivalent.

  • At least three-year experience in administrative, organisational, planning and database management.

  • Excellent customer service and relationship building skills with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to work under pressure to achieve deadlines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines and service expectations.

  • Skilled in the use of information technology including Microsoft Office applications.

Other Information

  • Project duration: 15 Apr 2024 to 31 Mar 2026 (the first contract: 12 months)

  • Workload: fulltime (40 hours in 5 days a week)

English Proficiency

English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam. For this role, the minimum requirement is IELTS General 6.0 (or equivalent Linguaskill 150).
